Isn't there a way to change dotted eights to straight eighths globally? I have 15 or so measures that I want to edit this way rather than one at a time.
I use win 2014.5
Thanks,
George

Are you going to be changing the time signature? Number of notes in the measure?

Can you give us a few more details, please?

If by dotted 8th you mean dotted 8th-16th, then Jari's JW Meter and Rhythm is the plugin to do this.

It would be pretty quick to run through with Speedy entry and pressing 4 on the dotted eighths and the sixteenths if it's 15 measures, quicker than finding the plug-in, installing it, and figuring out how it works, if you don't already have it.

For just one 15 measure passage, one time, maybe so. But having the plugin will come in handy for future situations. There's much more the plugin does.

It can also be done with the MIDI Tool - in case you do not want to use (or can not use) Jari Williamson’s plug-in
JW Meter and Rhythm.

With the MIDI Tool it is done with the feature Alter Feel, followed by a Retranscribe.
Warning:
Rertranscribe will also respell the accidentals, and you may not like that.

Thanks to Motet for the help. I used your way to fix it. Took me a little to get used to how it works since I do most of my work in Simple Entry.
Thanks so much to the rest of you people that gave me different ways to accomplish my task. I really appreciate everybody's help.
