Using Windows 10, Finale version 25.3.0.276. I have a piece that has a coda system. The measure where the music goes back to the sign (say end of measure # 50 ) is in one key, but the measure where the music goes back to (say measure 20) is in another key (the original key). I would to add a courtesy key signature at the END of measure 50 still inside measure 50, just prior to going back to measure 20. Can it be done?

There are 2 ways I've done it. One is by doing the courtesy signature as expressions. The other is by adding an extra measure after 50 that doesn't count in measure numbers, in the key needed. Then hide the barline, and use a staff style to not show the default rest in the extra measure. Then slide that extra measure's barline to the left until the 2 bars look like one. You might need to change the extra space at the end of the measure to a negative value to move the key signature closer to the notes.

A third solution is an extra system outside the right edge of the page.
In the thread motet links to, I have attached an example in Finale 2012 format.
Mac OS X 12.6.9 (Monterey), Finale user since 1996

I have played around with the plug -in and think I have found the answer. I created a coda system with the plug in. I have a key change after the "To Coda" sign. The coda then showed the "new" key instead of reverting to the original key. I then went to the first measure of the coda and changed the key to the correct one and the courtesy keys appeared at the end of the measure before the coda. This also worked if there had been a clef or time change. The courtesy clef and time signature showed correctly. This is what I will use in the future

In the thread referenced above there were three keys involved, so that wouldn't have worked.
