Finale 2014; Windows 10

So, first time user of Finale here. I've been using Musescore a while before the transition over.

I have a midi file imported, and there is a top treble clef, and on the bottom there is a grand staff, almost like another instrument.

Is there any way to make the grand staff into a single bass clef? It mainly consists of octaves and chords, so it would make sense.

Sorry for explaining this poorly, I've attached a picture to hopefully clarify. Image

The JW Staff Polyphony plug-in can do that.

If the rhythms are not too dissimilar, Implode Music will do it, too. Select both staves, press 1 and click on "Top Stave of Selection".
To improve the results, you can move one of the staves to another Layer, and then implode.
