Hello

I know how to place the DS and Segno signs, but I can't figure out how to instruct Finale to play till the Fine sign and stop.
It seems logic to me to check the "stop on pass1" in the Fine assignment, but it didn't work.

TIA

Actually, you would be stopping on the second pass, no?

I have a weird situation. I know how to place the DS and Segno and get it to stop at Fine, but at the end of my first section, the strings are playing pizzicato, but on the return, they should return to arco. I have tried adding an additional arco marking at both the end and at the return, but it still plays pizz. How do I get this to stop?

Sometimes HP doesn't do things as expected. The attached file uses a hidden expression with a Keyswitch playback definition to force the Arco Keyswitch.

Thank you so much, I finally figured it out with the help of your file. I don't understand it, but it worked!

The Data Dump feature available in the Expression playback is a powerful tool and makes up for deficiencies in how Human Playback automates keyswitches. However, I am guessing 99% if Finale users are not even aware of it.
