Finale version 2014.5
I use both Mac and Windows, but prefer Windows.
Is there a shortcut to adjusting the space above just the odd numbered staves on my parts. I want my parts to have 10 staves per page with staves 1 and 2 close together, then a gap, then 3 and 4 close together, then a gap, then 5 and 6 close together, etc. Normally I would just drag them, but I will have 12 parts with about 50 pages each. So I could really use some advice.

In scroll view, space them as you want them. Return to page view. Go to the Staff Menu, and choose Respace Staves. Check the box that says Set to Scroll View Spacing.

Perhaps you do not speak “Finale-speak” yet, but …
Since you are talking about parts, I suppose that you by your word “staves” mean “systems” in 1-staff parts, right?
In this case I suppose that the dialog box Edit System Margins could be useful.
In the dialog box you can specify, what system to modify.
You still have to do the odd numbered systems one by one, by it should be done quite quickly once you “get the hang of it”.
