I am using Finale 2014 on Win 10 on one pc and Win 7 Pro on a different pc

I had Finale installed on my work pc and when I used the standard numeric number keys(not num pad) it would change the duration of the note (ex 6 = whole note, 5= half note etc.)

My home computer the same keys create a harmony note (4 = 4th, 5= 5th, etc.)

I prefer the number keys changing duration - How do I make that the default?

Thanks!

Simple Entry Tool.
Simple menu > Simple Entry Options > Edit Keyboard Shortcuts…

You can switch between the already existing shortcut tables, and you can create your own.

Remember to save when you are done.
