Can anyone please instruct me how to add this wavy line next to the word growl?

You could do this with a custom line. Look at "custom lines" in the user manual.

… and, to be safe, do not add the line next to the word growl, but rather do it the other way around:
add the word growl to the custom line, as a Text at the Left Start.
Adjust the line to begin after the text.
