Finale 25 for Windows 10.
The manual says, "1. Choose the Smart Shape tool. The Smart Shape Palette appears. 2. Choose the Custom Line Tool . The Smart Shape menu appears."
However no Smart Shape menu appears. Once you have clicked the Custom Line tool the only option is to click and drag a wavy trill-style line.
What am I missing?

Try holding down ctrl while clicking on the Custom Line Tool. Then you can choose a line or create your own. Each time you make a change, the lines already in the score are maintained.

Bingo! Solved. Thanks! I tried right clicking but didn't think of the Ctrl or Alt keys.
