I created a custom expression for one piece of music. It does appear in the msc expressions on that document, but not on others. How can I copy this to another document, or better yet, make it permanently available on new scores?

You'd think there'd be an easy way, but not so. The best way I've found is to attach the expression to a measure, then copy that measure into the target document. You can then clear or delete the target measure and the expression will remain. For future documents, you need to put it in whatever template you use to make new documents.

You can also save a library, but that sometimes results in duplicates, which I don't like.

Jari Williamsson used to have a plug-in called Forza! that would transfer an expression, and it was very handy. But that was many Finale versions ago.
