Hi,

I'm a new user and have a problem with the lyric baselines (between words) displaying onscreen and printing in the printed pages.

How can I make these lines disappear?

Thanks for any help.

Those are not baselines. They're called word extensions, and they are automatically placed when you have syllables attached to tied notes (among other times). You can turn the option off. Read up on this in the Lyrics chapter of the manual.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I have turned off word extensions. As I have already discovered, there appears to be a way to control just about every element of functionality in the program, and I knew there was a way to do that as well. Knowing the correct term was the key.

Thanks again....
