Well first of all, I am new here, so please forgive me if I am a little bit slow with understanding things.

I have Finale 2003, and I wrote a song on it, that I would now like to burn it to a cd. I found another thread on this topic, but all it said was to save as a MIDI file, and I could manipulate it in any way that I wanted, including burning it to a disc. I did save it as a MIDI file, but when I went to burn it, my attempts failed. I tried on windows media player, realplayer, and burning wizard. Windows and realplayer both showed error messeges.

So please, somone, tell me every step in doing this, and I will forever love you.

MIDI is data not audio. You need to record the MIDI results into an audio clip that is either an mp3 filr or a wav file. You can then burn the audio file.

I don't know about 2003. In 2006 under file>save special>save as audio file. You need to make an audio file and then burn away!
