moving articulation symbols ...

Hi. I am trying to raise or lower the staccatissimo symbol (articulation 2) throughout my score, as it virtually touches the notes it is placed above or below. I've gone into the articulation menu and entered different measurements "above the note" and "below the note" but there is no change in the score. What am I doing wrong?

I've tried to re-create this situation on a piece with lots of articulations and I have found that once the articulation is created the only way to move them is to manually move them by clicking and dragging. If, however, you change the numeric value when you create the first articulation, all the others you create afterward will be at the new position.

Thanks for that Dave. I'd in fact noticed that after I'd changed the measurements, all newly-added articulations symbols were spaced as I wanted them. It just seems strange that the MassMover tool is inefficient here in altering the same articulation elsewhere...
