When I extract a part the multimeasure rest symbol is not a rectangle but a weird little dot. In the option dialog box its shape has the name "70". I want the usual rectangle back without drawing it myself.
Another theme: it happens very often on my PC that expressions (p, f, mf,...) "get lost". When I insert them a second time, then the old ones show up again. This must be a problem of reloading the graphics... Anyone has the same experience?
2 themes: multimeasure rest symbol + reloading the graphics

Open the score document.
In the score document, go to Document Options > Multimeasure rests
and click the button "Select..." to select the shape you want for multimeasure rests (probably shape #1 if you are using the Maestro font).
Extract parts again.
Now the parts should have the correct multimeasure rest shape.

Thanks, Peter. The #1 is in fact the good shape.
BTW I can't select it in a list of ready designed shapes, if I click "select" it opens only the shape designer box. This is why I couldn't find it myself.
What about the other theme?

1. To access the dialog box with ready designed shapes, delete the shape number in the text field before you click the button "Select...".
2. I don't know much about Windows (and I haven't experienced disappearing expressions), but it sounds like you are on the right track.
Have you checked whether there is a newer version of the software driver for the graphics card?
