I really wish this forum would explain what "spam words" are so I could avoid them and not have to re-compose my messages over and over!
I am trying out Finale 2010. It's fantastic and I hope to upgrade soon.
I need help assigning instrument placement in a realistic manner. For example, how do I put trumpets on the right and trombones on the left?
I also do not know how to save my music as an audio file. It's easy with Finale 2007 but I can't find the proper tool in 2010.
Thank you very much and I certainly hope I don't have any so-called "spam words" in this message.

Thanks very much for the quick reply!
What is the significance of the three columns of 16 channels in Aria?
I can see the first is for selecting instruments but what about the yellow one and the green one?
