articulations metatools

Hi everybody,
suddendly my articulation metatools shortcut started to fail when I tried to use it with a region.. I push - let's say - S for staccato and I drag the region but nothing happens..
It's not a regular behaviour but it started this afternoon..

And when I put a staccato on a violino solo it stops playng until the staccato ends..

CAn you help me?

Have you tried restarting the computer?

I restarted Finale, and now things are going better.
I hope it was a 'temporary' mistake.

Another little question: i tried to export articulations library but it doesn't export metatools too.. Or am I doing something wrong?

Metatools are not included in libraries.

If it's important for you to save metatools in libraries, you should make a feature request to MakeMusic.

There is a lot of stuff that doesn't save in libraries in Finale 2011. If you move expressions around, or delete categories, or create new categories, they get ignored. They are still re-arranged in the document, but won't save if you save the library. I submitted a case to MakeMusic, and they agreed that it was an issue. If, and when, it gets fixed is another story.
