Hi guys,

how can i do these "triple" beams in the bass clef. I was thinking that i can do the notes there and than use double/split stem tool on them and then edit the stems and draw the beams but is there any other way to this?

thanks

so i got something like this so far but i don't know how to make beams through the hidden rests but i also don't understand why when the rests are visible and i select in document options to extend beams over rests (also the secondary beams) why it is done only with last two notes and in first two the upper beam is broken?

You can do it in this way.

See the attached Finale 2011 document.

Note:
This is not exactly an engraving task for beginners, since it involves many advanced Finale features, such as Cross Staff Notation, Layers, Voice1/Voice2, Special Tools Tool (= Tie Tool, Dot Tool, Notehead Position Tool).

If you have any questions about how it is done, let me know.
