Hi,
I need to enter a repeat sign in a middle of a measure WITHOUT putting it in the same measure in other stave in the system.
Please see attachment. It shows what I need to achieve in Finale 2014.

Thanks.

Take a look at the attached Finale 2014 document.

I believe that it has the desired layout.

Thanks, Peter.
This is exactly what I need.
However, I am not sure how to achieve that result.
Could you please detail the steps needed to get there?

Thanks.

It is done with two custom made staff styles.

Open the Finale document I attached.
Switch to the Staff Tool.
In the Staff menu, select "Show Staff Styles” and “Show Staff Style Names”.
You will now see a band over the regions where a staff style has been applied (you must be in the Staff Tool to see the band).

Then go to
Staff menu > Define Staff Styles…
In the dialog box Staff Styles you can examine the two staff styles, and see how the staff styles are set up.
