Hi,

On an iMac Core 2 Duo AND on a MBPro Retina both running 10.11.1 El Capitan.
ANY attempt to add annotations (staccato, Marcato, accents etc.) from the side bar menu results in a complete crash and a report generated.
This has only started recently - I suspect since the installation of El Capitan.
I cannot stay productive like this
May the force(MakeMusic) be with me.

According to your forum user signature you are using Finale 2014.

It could not hurt to try Finale 2014.5 - which is a free update from Finale 2014.

Later - OK - found 2014.5 - seems to have corrected the annotation problem - thanks
I hope no other navies lurking :)

Thx very much for this info. I've been wary of any OS updates causing problems, but I do run 2014.5 so thx again...
