Hi,
My finale 2014 crashes when I write Lyrics Chorus 1 or 3. In other files maybe I had crashes on other lyric types or numbers
This is a common issue I have on most of my projects, some times on the first pages, sometimes at the end of a larger project.
I would appreciate any help to fix this.
I attach a file example. The crash happens if I try to add a chorus type lyric 1 or 3 on the 4th page.

Just a thought:
Could the culprit be your Mac OS X version?
What version of Mac OS are you using?

Also, the update to Finale 2014.5 is free. It fixed some problems found with Finale 2014.

Yes, I thought that, but on profile page there is only one operating system field, and I have Finale on 3 different devices and operations systems>Peter Thomsen wrote:Your profile (on the right on each post) says:drumstudio2000 wrote:… I’m on windows 7.

On macbook pro I have finale 2010 with Lion
On 2nd macbook I have finale 2014 with mavericks
On pc I have finale 2014 with windows 7...
, so I think it is also time to upgrade the forum profile page so it allow users to select multiple Osx?
PS What about my crash? Any advice to get it fixed? Thanks!

Sometimes it is other devices on your computer that causes Finale to crash. If that is your case looking for the issue in Finale probably won't help.drumstudio2000 wrote: no, I have no clue, could someone help me with that?

I would delete the .ini and re-create it like Zuill suggests. But if that doesn't work try looking at you sound or video devices. Make sure they are up to date.
