Is there any shortcut for the playback play and stop buttons?

As long as the playback controls window is open, you can use the space bar to start or stop playback.

guysion,

Are you on Windows or Macintosh?
I may be wrong here, but I think that the Spacebar shortcut only works in the Macintosh version.

You've probably worked this out by now, as the original post is a few months old, but the Windows shortcut(s) are
Start: Alt + D + P
Stop: Alt + D + O
This seems a convoluted key combination for such often used commands and I'm currently searching to see whether they can be modified/simplified.

This from Jazpak on another post

"Yeah -- you can assign keyboard shortcuts. In fact, I remapped all my shortcuts to the ones I'm familiar with (Finale 2002 -- in 2007, they changed a whole lot of stuff.)

In the Simple Entry menu, there's an option in there to define the shortcuts. "
