I have been working on a simple two-staff vocal project, and suddenly any time I try to save, save as, or copy, I get a message that says,
While attempting to access "~TemporarySaveFile~" the File Manager reported an error.
I am using Finale 2011.
I have tried saving to another location and changing the file name, but neither has worked. I keep getting the same message.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Have you tried restarting the computer?

Welp, that sure enough fixed it.
Luckily when I saved to Desktop, even though I was getting the error message, the saved version appeared on my desktop when I restarted. So nothing was lost :D
Thanks, miker!

I have tried other files and different computers and one of my .musx Finale 2014 files still won't open. Rebooting the computer didn't solve the problem either.

Welcome to the forum.

If it's just one file that won't open, the file may be corrupted. Send it in to Tech Support, and see if they can help you.
