HI, I was wondering if there is a mirror tool that only change things for smart shape tools? It's a pain in the ass if I finish one measure and I had to go back and add slurs or crescendos/decrescendos and I had to go do it one instrument at a time. Is there a way I can do it to one and have it apply to the rest like how mirror tool works except with only smart shape tools?

I am not sure I understand.

1) With the Mirror Tool you can have two measures linked to each other.
Make a change in the source measure, and the mirrored measure is automatically updated.
This includes note attached smart shapes (e. g. slurs), but not measure attached smart shapes (e. g. hairpins).

2) With the Copy Filter you can copy only smart shapes.

So what I'm wondering is if there is a way to copy all the smart shapes from one measure to another without changing the notes in it. like if two instrument are playing the same rhythm, but different notes, can I just copy the slur and the crescendo from one in instrument to another one without changing the notes on the second instrument?

Yes, you can "just copy the slur and the crescendo from one in instrument to another one without changing the notes on the second instrument".

That is what I meant, when I wrote
"With the Copy Filter you can copy only smart shapes".

Assuming that you by your word "crescendo" mean hairpins.

A crescendo can also be text - a text expression or a smart shape custom line.

Yes I do mean the hairpins. How do you use the copy filter? I've been trying to figure that out for awhile now.

Edit menu > Edit Filter…

Select the items you want to copy.
De-select the items you do not want to copy.

Tip:
You can save some time by using the buttons "None" and "All".

NB:
Remember to toggle the Edit Filter off when you are done.
