I'm writing a book for drummers, and have decided to not use Clefs at all.
I there any way to set the left repeat sign closer (preferable all the way) to the left bar line?
This is how it looks now:

Document menu > Document Options > Clefs
You can set the spacing Before Clef and After Clef to zero.
By The Way:
What about time signatures?
Have you decided to set the time signatures all the way to the Left Barline?

Thanks Peter! I've changed the spacing to zero but the repeat sign doesn't get all the way to the left:
I use the "invisible clef" Any ideas?

Good point! Yes that would probably look best. Do you know how?Peter Thomsen wrote:Have you decided to set the time signatures all the way to the Left Barline?

By move it down, you mean "copy it"?miker wrote:Maybe put the repeat in the second measure, move it down to the second system, and hide the first one?

…or Utilities, move to next system. Hmm didn't work, still the same space before the repeat sign.

Got it!
Document Settings ------>
Repeats----->
Choose a number in the "After Clef" column. (0,15625 in my case)

Anders,
Take a look at the attached Finale 2014 document.
It shows another way to do the same.
NB:
This forum does not allow the file name extension .musx, so I changed the file name extension to .zip.
Just change the file name extension back to .musx, and Finale 2014 can open the document.

Peter, thanks but I can't open this file. It worked last time (in another topic)?

Anders,
After changing the file name extension from .zip to .musx I can open my file in Finale 2014 without problems.
Did you change the file name extension from .zip to .musx?

Yes, I've changed the file name extension from .zip to .musx but it doesn't work. I did this before in a previous .zip you send me and it worked then. I can try at work 2morrow, but there we have Finale 2011 for pc instead.

Peter, now I get it! For some reason my Mac unzipped the file when downloading it. So I just changed those files to musx, and that didn't work. When I place your file in a folder I can change the .zip to .musx
Thanks again!
