Is there an easy way to convert two triplets into a sextuplet? I've used the tuplet tool on the toolbar rather than the tuplet menu to create my triplets. I know the performance will sound the same in playback, but I would like to have the number 6 displayed rather than two number 3s.

Ideas:
1) have you looked at Jari Williamson’s wonderful collection of Finale plug-ins?
I suspect that one of them can do the task.
2) Also, it may be possible to write a FinaleScript script that can do it.
3) Even without any add-ons there is a simple option:
Edit menu > Clear Selected Items…
Clear only Tuplet Definitions.
This step will remove all tuplets, leaving only the notes (and thus “overfilling” the measure).
Then use the Tuplet Tool to create the sextuplets.
This can be done quickly with a tuplet metatool.
Program the tuplet metatool, and assign a computer key to it.
While holding down the metatool key on the computer keyboard, click the first note in the tuplet.

This thread is called easy way to convert two triplets into a sextuplet.
You are asking about, how to (with Jari Williamson’s plug-ins)convert two triplets into one sextuplet, right?
JW Meter and Rhythm > Tuplets > Merge
Could it be any simpler?
