Hi, I want to playback finale score and send that signal to a secondary software input.
Im runing finale 2014 on my mac with mavericks 10.9.5

I go to Midi Audio Setup / Device Setup / Audio Setup
and select my output source (the soft I want send the audio to)

When I press TEST AUDIO OUTPUT the soft gets the signal from Finale...
but when I press play my score playback correctly but no signal arrives to my soft..

Is there something I am missing?
I would appreciate any help on this.
thanks!
drum!

ps.
I would love to find a way to send Finale audio output to Protools too, but I think this is more a question to PT forum

1) If you use the Finale sounds (Garritan, SmartMusic SoftSynth), you can export an audio file (.aiff) via the File menu.
2) if you want to record the output of Finale in real time, I would recommend to try something like Audio Hijack in which you just chain a series of "blocks" :
• an application (Finale)
• an audio file format (aiff, mp3,...)
• an output device (your Mac audio, or an audio interface)
Then you press record, and the recording starts.
