I seem to remember a thread on this topic before, but for the life of me, I'm not finding it. I must be entering the wrong search parameters or something.

Anyway, I apologize for possibly duplicating a thread, but you know how one of the Tempo Marks in the Expressions tool is "Swing!" then shows beamed eighth notes? Well, I'd like to create a Tempo Mark that indicates that sixteenth notes need to be swung. How is that accomplished? I seem to remember it being more complicated that just using a font.

Thanks!

1) It can be done by “just using a font”, e. g. the MaestroTimes font.
See the attached Finale 2014 document.

2) However, if you do not like the font, consider doing the swing symbol as a shape expression.
In the Shape Designer you have a drawing environment, allowing you to customize all details in the symbol, e. g. beam thickness and stem thickness.
