Hello Finale Forums:

I'm working with a brass sextet and inserted a D.S. al Coda about 3/4th's of the way through the piece. Even though I checked "All Staves" under "Show On" when I opened the Edit Text Repeat Assignment menu, the "D.S. al Coda" text and both signs only appear on the top stave. Therefore, when I export all the parts into separate documents, all the repeat indications are invisible. I've included a small screenshot to help explain the scenario a bit more.

Can someone help? Thanks!

Hello,

My first guess would be that in the staff attributes of those staves, "Ending and text Repeats" is not checked under Items to Display.

I'm having a similar seeming problem with text repeats.

For instance I create an indication such as "arco", and although I have:
1) selected a previously created staff list under "show on" at the edit text repeat assignment window, and also I have
2) confirmed that "ending and text repeats" is selected at Items to Display for each and every stave, and
3)at Finale>Preferences>Edit, "Automatic Instrument Family Measure numbers and endings & text repeats" is selected,
...the repeat texts continue to be squirrelly. They all appear when i click the handle of the repeat text item on the top staff, but if I scroll away from the particular measure, they become hidden again and don't print to a pdf.

Any ideas about how to get these to consistently display and print through to a pdf? Thanks in advance for any help!
