I'm creating an "eye glasses" articulation (so the band knows to watch me for cues).

When I add that articulation, it moves the notes to create "space" for that articulation ... even though the articulation is outside the measure.

Is there any way to have Finale NOT do this?

It really messes up the spacing.

You could use an expression instead.
