I have recently upgraded to MacOS X El Capitán from Mavericks (a bad idea, as I have just discovered) and now, when I try to use the articulation tool, as soon as I click on a note to write an articulation in it, the program crashes and, which is even worse, the file I was working in is no longer writable. As soon as I try to write any note in it, the program crashes again. My Finale version is 2014.0.3062. Do you know how to solve this problem?

There is a free maintenance update to 2014.5 - it could not hurt to try it.

NB:
2014.5 is a complete installation - it will not affect/modify your existing 2014 installation.

In Other Words:
You can have both 2014 and 2014.5 installed at the same time, on the same computer.

In the MakeMusic website I can only find a free trial 2014.5 that apparently will only last for 30 days. Do you know about any other option?
