Hello again fellows, I hope everyone is doing fine. My problem this time is this: I am trying to make an exercise book and I want to put numbers before staves. I do so by text adding. What i want to know is if there is a way to fix the number positions before the selected staves and not dragging them manually (which results in different positions). In other words I want the number to appear in the exact same position before every staff.

You can use the rehearsal mark expression tool. Just fiddle with the positioning settings and font size and style until you get what you want. Then, they will always locate to the same spot on each staff. Remember that expressions are document-specific, not global. Once you get the settings where you want them, you might want to save that as a template.

I would create a custom expression category for the numbers.
Set the default Horizontal positioning relative to the Left Barline.
