I've got the measure numbers appearing in every measure, but in an orchestral instrument part like viola or cello, the numbers are often in the way of slurs and other markings. I'd like the numbers to be placed under the measures. Any ideas?

You can specify a different position for Linked Parts from that used in the Score. Just set the Vertical position to a negative number.
