How to connect 8th notes in different staves?

I would like to connect 8th notes so that they look like this.

For that, you enter all the notes in the Bass staff and then use Cross Staff to move notes to the Treble Staff.

The easiest way is to select the notes you want moved with the Selection Tool and press Alt-Up arrow.
