Is there a way to move the Time Signature in a specific measure, not the entire document. I need to move it closer to the Key Signature.

I don't think so. You'd have to fake it with an expression. Can I ask why you need the extra space? Perhaps there's some other way.

I have 2 measures in that particular system and have to keep it that way. In one particular measure, I have several "bb" and many other accidents on 1/16th notes and need to fit it into that measure. I did the best I could and it looks OK, but I was just wondering, for the future, if there was a way of moving the time signature in one measure. I guess, like you said, there isn't. I'll try to fake it like you suggest.
Thanks.

You can hide the Time Signature with a Staff Style and re enter it as Expression Text. You'll probably have to add "Space at Start of Measure" with the Measure Tool in order to make room for the Time Signature. It would be interesting to see an example of what you're trying to improve - I'm having a hard time understanding the need for more/less space.

Unfortunately, I can't show the example, suffice it to say that:
1. I must maintaining note size at 100% for 9x12
2. Totale pages must be 5
3. the measure in question, in 12/8 time has many 1/16th notes with many of them having single and double accidents, which makes it very hard to read. This measure, in normal circumstances would be contained on one system. This would make the measure less squeezed and more readable. Unfortunately, I have to maintain 2 measures in the system, thereby keeping the page count to 5.
After adjusting the page margins, moving the notes and accidentals to be more readable and less squeezed, the beginning of the measure ended up too close to the time signature, by moving the time signature closer to the key signature, I created more breathing room and the system looks more balanced. If I had my way, I would dedicate the one measure to the system, but I don't, so I have to make due and still maintains a breathable and balanced look.
I did hide the time signature and created a text expression. This worked quite well. Thanks

There are also the measure spacing handles for adding extra space at the beginning of the measure.

Yes, I adjusted them as well. I could have adjusted this in illustrator like I usually do in some situations but, I wanted to see if I could manage this in Finale without having to go there.

Affinity Designer is very good in this respect, as it opens all pages of a PDF as separate layers in the same document. So you hide/reveal each one in turn, do the edits. You have to export each visible layer in turn, too, and then recombine, but it's slightly easier than Illustrator.

NickG, I totally agree with you. Every element on the page should be individually adjustable, including key signatures, clefs etc.
