Is it possible that editing in a part can be linked to the score? In an opposite direction from "relink to score".
I have done very detailed editing in parts, I want these changes to be copied into the score.

The only way I can see, is that you take note(s) of the settings in the linked part, and re-do the settings, one by one, in the score.

You will have to edit the items one by one, and you will have to switch to the tool in which each item was created (Text Tool, Articulation Tool, Expression Tool &c.).
I do not know of a way to copy all settings “at one fell swoop”. Perhaps via FinaleScript, or via a plug-in?

Hey, this looks like a good idea for a feature request.

One thing that might work (it did in my limited test) is to extract the part, then copy/paste from the extracted part to the original score.

In a similar vein to Zuill's idea, I tried copying from the linked part and pasting back into the score part, but that didn't work. The score and linked part both reverted back to the original.

I had tried that first, and realized that didn't work. I also tried copying from the part to another staff in the score, and that didn't work either. Thus my experiment with an extracted part.

Hmm, I don't know any way to do this after the fact, but at the time that you make the edit, most edits that you make to the part will also show up in the score if you perform them while holding down the override key (command on Mac, probably control on PC).

There are a couple of tools that don't seem to work this way, like flipping enharmonics. I just re-enter the note in that case.
