Hi,

Is it possible to adjust the vertical note position with Mass Edit, as it is with the Note Shape Tool? If not, is there a way to vertically adjust the position of several notes at once?

This is for Finale 2007.

Thanks.

You mean vertical position and not change pitch, right? It can easily be done with the plug-in JW Change>Notepads in newer Finale versions (not the current version), but Finale 2007... I don't think so. Maybe have a look around in www.finaletips.nu ?

Hi Skjalg. Yes. In my case though, it applies to tablature but with standard staff, the problem would be as you described. I would prefer a "manual" workaround, without resorting to a plugin.

If the adjustments in several measures are the same, and occur on the same beats, then you could use the Copy Filter to copy the alterations from one measure to all the other measures.

Hi Peter,

Good to see some familiar faces! Actually, I have quite a few notes all in the same measure and I wanted to do resizing and vertical shift of all the notes in that one measure at once. Right now, I can do note resizing with Mass Edit but have to do the vertical shift one by one with the Note Shape Tool. Feasible but tedious.
