Is there any plugin to force all measures in one movement to be one large tacet measure?
The problem is that I have numerous time signature changes; but in the part, the performer doesn't need to know all of that. It is the last movement.

I know of no plug-in, but you can easily put everything on one system and apply a staff style to suppress time signatures, barlines, etc. If it's the last movement you could also push all but the first measure onto a new page and just not print it.

Another way is to have no staff at all - it serves no purpose. Just-

Yes!

Robert Patterson has a plug-in called "force create" in the multimeasure rest submenu. It will make one mm rest regardless of time changes, key changes, etc. I believe he intended it for just this purpose.

After running it you may need to send the mm number off the page and replace with a centered expression.

Or, you can set that MM rest to start numbering at some large number.

Well, this is very smart idea, indeed. I will try that imidiateely!
Many thanks Motet.

I will test that as well! Many thanks RMK.

You really can't make it into a single multi-measure rest if there are time signature or key changes. Instead, I add a rest-like symbol as an expression. All a matter of taste, of course.

So here I have all the measures of the movement jammed together, with a staff style suppressing everything.

I will go with this, Motet, since I don't have full Patterson.
Your option works great.
How do you create that long measure rest? Which font - symbols do you use, to combine it into one visual rest?

I think I made, with some effort, a shape expression, but I bet you could you could make a smart line with custom "arrowheads." This would perhaps be better and could stretch to different lengths, and probably not very hard to do.

OK, here you go! Unzip and load this library and you'll find such a smart line when you Ctrl-click the custom line tool.
