Hello, I have an issue with a bass clef that won't disappear. It happens when I change the clef in the middle of the staff and I can't figure out what to do about it. I've tried deleting the measure and starting over and that didn't help.

Here is what it looks like:

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hard to tell from the picture. Can you attach the file?

What I'm talking about is the bass clef hidden behind the first note in the right hand.

Got it. However, we can't troubleshoot without seeing the file.

Normally, when changing clef, you want it to show at the end of the previous system, or before the barline. Your selection was to show the clef after the barline. Thus the errant look.

I would not have been able to guess that without seeing the file. Hope that helps.
