I am tring to duplicate, for playing and for playback in Finale, an upper mordent (new to me).

I put an upper mordent at the right spot in the finale file, but I am not sure if I did so correctly, or how it is supposed to sound.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

The following web page will show you how it looks and what it sounds like. Scroll down - they call it an "inverted mordent".

So, is this the effect in this tune:
The eighth note D is converted into a 64th D and a 64th C and sixteenth D plus a half?

Thanks.

That may be the way Finale plays it back, but it is not so metered at that.

I am sorry.
I got it wrong.
Inverted mordent.
The eighth note D is converted into a 64th D and a 64th - E - and sixteenth D plus a half?
