The ttached will show what Ron explained, and might help you see what can be done. It may not be completely as you want, but puts you closer.

Ronald J Brown wrote:No 1. Select the last measure and, under Measure Attributes" click "Hide Cautionary clefs, keys, and time signatures."

2. and 3. with the staff tool, click on the little box in the upper left corner, beside the clef, and drag the staff to where you want it to be.

These both are basic operations covered in the tutorials.
Actually, you want to instead click somewhere inside the staff system to drag it. Dragging the little box changes the system margin rather than moving the staff (the margin is fine in this case).

For number 1, since this is a collection of such exercises, you might want to uncheck

Document options/Key signatures/Display courtesy key signature at end of staff system
Document options/Time signatures/Display courtesy time signature at end of staff system

and take care of all of them at once rather than setting each measure attribute.

I guess I didn't read Ron's post too carefully. He mentioned to use the Staff Tool. That's not the tool to use. It is the Page layout Tool that is needed. Sorry I missed that.

Yes, that can be done, but not the same thing as what is done in the Page Layout Tool. The OP's picture shows that the Page Layout Tool was being used. That is the preferred layout tool for what is being done. The Page Break is a Page Layout Tool feature.

P.S.: Looking at the picture I do see the Page Layout boundaries, but I guess the Page Break had not been applied yet. I did in my document. Without it, you're heading for trouble. That option is not available in the Staff Tool. Look at my revised file to see what I did.

I didn't read Ron's post carefully, either--apologies. Staff Tool is certainly another fine way.

But the Staff Tool doesn't adjust the System Margins, and doesn't provide the Page Break, both of which are needed to make this kind of layout work better.
