Longtime user, had more than usual problems with capo chords yesterday. Song is in F, so added chords at capo 3. Respelling chords with ## or bb solve most of the pesky issues, like A/Db, but nothing I do can change the Dm chord from showing as Cbm. I've tried C##m, Ebbm, changing the enharmonic spelling options...
This seems like it should be a simple function, when capo chords are added, they should follow the usual spelling of the new key, in this case D. D/Gb and A/Db and Cbm should never occur unless the user purposely wants them to occur.
Anyone know a workaround? Thanks!
Dennis

For me (using v25.3) the Capo chord displays as Bm.denroden wrote:… nothing I do can change the Dm chord from showing as Cbm. I've tried C##m, Ebbm, changing the enharmonic spelling options …
In order to troubleshoot we may need to see an actual Finale document.
I suggest that you attach a (small) Finale sample document here.

I created a new document, and Dm at capo 3 transposes correctly to Bm, and I copied a few bars from the old into the new document, and it displays correctly as Bm. I went through as many option screens as I could to find something different between the two files, but could not. Hmmm...
