I have some problems using copy/paste in Finale 25. I'm writing an arrangement on the song Red Baron. When i paste a copied meaure later in the score, it appears different from the measure I copied. The measure I paste into, doesen't accept the note values from the bar I copied. I'm working on a new Acer PC with Windows 10. The measure I copy, consists of four 8th triplets, where three of the 8ths are subdivided into two 16ths. When I paste this into a new measure, some of the note values have changed, and the last note – originally an eigtht - is split into two 16ths, and the last 16th is thrown into the next measure. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry, I have never had a similar problem.

My first guess would be that some of your triplets are defined incorrectly.

I would check the Tuplet Definition of each triplet.

When I type these triplets manually into the measure, it works. It's when I copy this and paste it into another measure that the problem occures.

If the tuplets are correctly defined, make sure you select the whole source measure and destination measure. 1 click on the source measure(s) and copy, 1 click on the destination mesures(s) and paste. Partial selections are possible, too, but one has to be careful to paste exactly in the correct position in the destination measure.

I've seen a similar issue when a measure stack is not selected. Doing the copy/paste in the part often allows the proper behavior.

Maybe seeing the actual file for testing would help us to see what's up.

This might suggest that a single stave Staff Set in Scroll View might also work (it's not a problem I'm experiencing, so I can't test).

Just a random thought...is there a selection in the 'edit filter' that could be causing the problem?
