I am trying to enter a triplet for drum set on one line and when I place a note on one of the triplet subdivisions, it breaks the triplet and puts in eighth notes. How can I enter a triplet and fill it with different voices on the drum set with out breaking the triplet?
Thank you in advance

If I understand the question, use Layers (Finale has 4) to enter superimposed figures.
