I have no clue what I just did...

I was re-fitting some measures, when to utilities then f and "3" ( 3 measures ) ( not looking at the screen or being sure I actually hit " Utilities".

When i looked up, the selected measures had huge black borders around each measure - like they were in a Table ( concept of borders around cells ).

I really don't want to have to do all this work all over again!

Thank you
WG

FWIW... I saved my work as a new file, closed the file, reopened the file, and all normal?

Maybe there' no answer to what happened.
No Crisis at least!

Sounds like you selected a region in SmartFind and Paint in the Edit menu. You probably selected a region for this utility.

If you're talking about the "Fit Music" command, there is a keyboard shortcut to bring up the dialog box. If you learn some of the shortcuts, you don't have to mess around with menus.
