Hello friends.
I have created default document.
Please answer me how to change instrument to example snare drum.

I always start with default document and than I change time signature, key signature... because it's faster than to create with "Document setup wizard".

I do not remember whether Finale 2012 has the utility Change Instrument ?

Utilities menu > Change Instrument…

You can select the instrument in the Score Manager. I think it's easier to use the Setup Wizard, because all of the settings for Snare Drum will be made automatically. You'll have to make all the settings yourself if you start from a default file.

You can, for example, type "change instrument" in the search box of the user manual, which might save you some questions here.

Not to scold you, but you will learn the program quicker that way. Of course, come here if you're stuck.
