I've got a Piano/Vocal - beneath the piano bass staff is a zero-line staff with everything hidden except notes and rests. I'd like to get rid of the left, system barline that extends to the 0 line staff but can't remember how - there is a way, I know that. I'd appreciate the guidance!
Thanks,
N.

An idea :
• in Document Options, -> Barlines, deselect the display of the left barlines at the beginning of the systems. Now they are gone everywhere.
• Create a new group not including the lowest staff, and apply the last bracket (the one on the right).
• Move this bracket horizontally so it touches the staves (normally, the hooks get superimposed with staff lines). Adjust the horizontal position of the other brackets.

Thanks, Michel. Very clever modification, and it worked perfectly.

Another way to “skin the cat”:
In the zero-line staff, move the barlines vertically up into the piano Grand Staff:
