Windows 7, Finale 25.3

I posted this issue before, but it keeps cropping up:

I want my fermatas to always be above the note.

I'm not sure what I've omitted from my articulation edit or forgotten, but no matter what I do, fermatas sometimes place correctly and sometimes flip under the note or rest. This is costing me huge amounts of time with no solution. Help.

try unchecking "avoid staff lines"? my fermatas always place correctly, and that is one box that I have unchecked.

I think the Articulation settings for the fermata are incorrect. Try the attached - you might have to clear (backspace) the placement of those present to see the results. They place properly on my setup.

This looks like that horrible bug where the fermatas appear to be flipped but they're not--if you select one and try to move it vertically you'll see what I mean. Looks like you changed "default vertical position." Put that back to 23e as it is out of the box, select the fermatas and press Backspace, refresh the screen with Ctrl-D, and that will fix it.
