Fairly new user. I know where the Split measure tool is. But I can't figure out the value to enter to get the results I want.

Time sig is 6/8 and I want to split an eighth to the next line. Can anyone tell me what to put in the split measure dialogue box to make the eighth note move?

Thanks!

Either 5 or 2.33. Not at my computer now. If that doesn't work, you may need to set the time signature for that measure to the 6-beat flavor of 6/8 first (from the time signature dialog). Make sure it's just or that one measure v

Seems to me that by "beats" the plugin uses the value of the denominator of the time signature. Anotherwords, 5/32 = 5 beats, 7/1 = 7 beats, and so forth.
