Greetings one and all,
What is the abbreviated staff name one should use for Tubular Bells?
Perhaps T.B., or something different? I don't have much room on the margin, so T.B. would be handy!
Cheers,
Hector Pascal.

That may not be true in all parts of the world. "Tubular bells", however, should be recognized worldwide.bkshepard wrote:In the orchestral world, they're pretty much always called "Chimes,"

T.B. works for me. If there is a situation where Temple Blocks and Tubular bells might be confused (hard to imagine that), one could use T. Blks and T. Bls for clarification.

Finale 25 lists both Tubular Bells and Chimes. The basic Garritan only has Tubular Bells. If I remember correctly.
I always name them Chimes.
