When I enter chord symbols, the playback voicings are not good. How can I change the voicings being played back. I do not have a midi keyboard. I'm using Finale 2010. I just want the voicings similar to the jazz voicings I play on guitar. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

Indeed Finale’s playback of chord suffixes has lousy voicing, i. e. no voicing at all.

You can edit the playback of chord suffixes - it is done in the Chord Suffix Editor.
But you will still get lousy voicing since Finale does not consider the musical context - the chord suffix will get the same playback everywhere, regardless of the musical context.

The general solution is to
- disable playback of chord symbols
- add chord playback in a hidden layer (where you can finetune the voicing)
