Can't save or print files

Hi, I'm new here, I joined because I have a really annoying and worrisome problem.
Back in 2014 I upgraded the operating system on my Macbook Pro, and Finale stopped letting me print and save files, said I wasn't authorized. That computer eventually hung, but all my data was good do I put it all on a separate hard drive and got a new Macbook. Now, once again, Finale won't let me print or save files. The big difference is that in 2014, a support tech at MakeMusic fixed the problem for me by re-authorizing remotely.
Now, after submitting the problem to MakeMusic and the officlal Finale forum, I'm getting nothing. Finale's no good to me in its current state and I have 6 charts to do this weekend.
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Thanks.

That's what someone on the MakeMusic forum said, but he didn't tell me how to go about it.motet wrote:Look around on the MM site. I think there's some new way of deauthorizing/reauthorizing that you can do yourself.

You de-authorize under the Help menu, and I assume you re-authorize there as well.

In Finale under the Help tab click About Finale. It will show two things. 1st whether you are authorized and 2nd your number. With that number you can call MM and they will fix it.

Then use the "Submit a request" link to contact MM for help. In short you will need that number!

It is possible it never got authorized properly in the first place. OP needs to contact MM one way or another.

I'm fairly certain this is the OP trying to run Finale 2007 on a newer Mac. The solution is to upgrade.

I don't know for sure that 2012 won't install over OS 10.12 — I can only take MM's word for that. I am absolutely certain that older versions will not install however. The only reason that 2011 runs on my Mac is that it was installed new and the OS has been upgraded in the mean time.
